Not satisfied with the effectiveness of your BMW OEM multifunction indicators?
If you have a BMW model from 2021 onwards, you probably have these multi-function indicators on your bike.
Identifiable at the rear by the three function indicators; driving lights, brake lights and turn signals in each unit.
These indicators look very attractive, but appearances are deceptive.
When indicating direction, the orange light is not very noticeable because in the small indicator unit, the red light from the driving lights and the even brighter red brake light make the orange light from the indicator function almost invisible.
The feedback from owners is no matter how nice they look, the visibility is so poor that they can be considered a potential hazard to both the rider and other road users.
Here at HPoskam engineering, we were asked if anything could be done to keep the existing indicators but improve the functionality of the indicators without replacing them.
For this, we have created a 100% plug and play solution.
We call them the BMW indicator function splitter, because this is exactly what they do.
2 small modules are placed on the right and left side of the rear indicators.
Directly under the buddy seat, so easy to reach.
Installation is quick and simple you don’t even need any tools or knowledge.
Just plug in 2 connectors and you’re done!
After installation, in the respective indicator light that is active, the red driving light and/or the red brake light temporarily switch off when the indicator function is activated. When the indicator function is terminated, the red driving light goes back on and brake light function is available again.
This version hase a connection for the Denali B6 tail and brake light!
So it’s 100% plug and play.
